Sage Hill Inn is excited to announce the installation of four Level 2, 12kW EV charging stations, available at no charge for our overnight and day spa guests. These stations make it even easier for guests traveling from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, or other areas within 200-300 miles to recharge while they unwind.
Easy Access from Major Texas Cities
Sage Hill is conveniently located just 220 miles down I-35 from Dallas and only 175 miles from either Fort Worth or Houston. Guests can drive in on a single charge and easily recharge their EVs for the return trip. Located just 25 miles from downtown Austin and 60 miles from San Antonio, many guests may not need a full charge but can still top off their EVs during their stay.
Our Ongoing Commitment to Sustainability
From the beginning, Sage Hill has been dedicated to sustainability. We’re a proud recipient of the Barton Creek Edwards Aquifer “Customer of the Year” award. Over the past decade, we’ve implemented eco-friendly upgrades, including dual-flush toilets, LED lighting, a 20,000-gallon rain and greywater system, and an annual wildlife certification.
How to Use the EV Charging Stations
Our charging stations support the standard J1772 plug (compatible with nearly all non-Tesla EVs), and Tesla adapters are available as well. To use a station, simply check with the front desk to reserve and receive an assignment. We may ask guests to leave keys at the front desk to rotate vehicles efficiently and ensure access for everyone.
